Wow! I haven't blogged since my college days (on xanga.com)!! Remember those days?!??! Anyhow, I'm giving it another go & hopefully I'll find some consistency~
This weekend was packed with interesting events!
On Fri, I attended the grand opening of Sky Room's Wine Down Lounge in Long Beach. The executive chef happens to be the cousin of a good friend/coworker of mine. It was a HUGE deal since it was the first time she debuted her dishes~ and what's on the menu?? Fusion tapas! YUM!!!! Just to name a few; chorizo croquettes w a spicy (aioli?) sauce, bacon wrapped oysters on the half shell, ahi tuna, garlic flat bread... With a glass of pinot grigio in hand, I thought I was in heaven!

On Sat, I had my first paid gig as a photographer! Granted I was only 2nd shooting for
marco, it was a START! We met at 9am, started shooting at 12pm, stopped shooting at 12am, and Marco continued shooting until 2am. Although I had an amazing time (couldn't stop smiling while shooting!), I was exhausted!! I have a newfound respect for the photographers who do this every weekend! It wasn't easy~~
& another thing... I decided I now want an Armenian style reception! lol~ Just for the fact that I absolutely loved watching both young and old dance literally ALL night long!!! I was even slapped with a cloth napkin on my back while they were doing that one circle kicking dance! HAHAHA!! There was so much energy & love throughout the day!

On Sun, I headed over to the valley to meet with a very dear & close friend. She gave birth to a 7lb 8oz, 21in long baby boy! This amazing couple has waited ever so patiently & now have been blessed with a miracle of their own. I'm truly happy for you two & can't wait to see JD grow up! I'm already in love with all of his facial expressions, sneezing, crying, and snoring! I was soooooo close, but refrained from biting off his head...
